Savannah was bred by Giselle Graham (Golden Graham’s Goldens) – she is our Tanner daughter and we’re very happy to say Savannah is turning into a very nice girl. She was 3rd at the 2011 GRCA National in the Amateur Owner Handler class. Savannah started 2012 with a major RWB from breeder judge Michael Faulkner. In June 2012 she received her first points (a major) from judge Dr. Sylvia Kerr and was 4th in the 2012 GRCA National in the Amateur Owner Handler class from judge Linda More. Savannah finally fully matured in 2014 earning 11 points with the last point coming in January 2015. I showed Savannah to her second major – a Specialty major under breeder judge Gloria Kerr – it was the first major I ever put on a dog so it was a very special win. Thank you judges Dr. Sylvia J. Kerr, Karen Rooks Nauer, Gloria Kerr, Cathie Turner, Karin B. Ashe, Col. Joe B. Purkhiser, Eugene Blake and Judy Webb for recognizing Savannah.
|Savannah as a Class Bitch
Savannah is a finer bitch in the middle of the height and weight standards. She has a very loving personality and is a perfect lap dog.
HEAD: Head is very pleasant to look at but would like to see more head that is broader in the muzzle.
MOUTH: Full dentition and scissor bite.
EYES: Dark with good pigmentation – would like to see a slightly smaller eye.
COAT: Good texture and undercoat.
FEET: Tight and cat like.
CONFORMATION: Good flow from neck into strong level topline. Good layback and balanced front and rear.
MOVEMENT: Is a picture on the move with good reach and drive – holds a level topline – clean out and back. Savannah receives many ringside compliments on her movement.
Savannah turned 8 in March 2018 and is beginning to show as a veteran. In her first show as a veteran – Rio Grande Valley GRC Specialty she was BVISS and received a JAM. The following day at Rio Grande KC she was Best Veteran and Veteran Sporting Dog Group 3.
