Aspen started her show career with a very good puppy year culminating with Aspen received the Mile Hi Golden Retriever Club Best Puppy traveling trophy in 2016. Aspen received 2 Specialty majors including going WB, BOW, and Best of Breed at the GRC of Columbus Ohio Specialty to finish her championship under breeder judge Barbara Pepper. Thanks to judges Nancy Jean Gallant, Desmond Murphy, Marjorie Martorella, Dr. Jill Warren, Marcia Schlehr, Linda Robey, Joan V Savage, Janice Leonard and Barbara Pepper for awarding Aspen points. We’re excited to show this girl as a Special and plan to breed her in 2019.

Aspen is a home bred girl – she’s from Savannah’s first litter. She has the movement of her mother and grandfather. She is 22 1/4 inches tall and approximately 65 lbs.
HEAD: Very pleasant head but could be a little stronger – overall proportions are correct. Excellent pigmentation.
MOUTH: Full dentition and scissor bite.
EYES: Dark, well set and correct shape
COAT: Great texture, very straight and easy to groom, good undercoat. Medium gold in color.
CONFORMATION: Lovely stacked. Good length of neck flowing into a level topline and correct tail set. Good layback of shoulders and good return of upper arm. Good length of rib and plenty of leg under her. The rear angles match the front giving her a very balanced look.
MOVEMENT: Outstanding movement with reach and drive. Carries a level topline and tail set while on the move. It’s hard to take your eyes off her when she is gaiting around the ring.
